The Museum wants to create a virtual tour of Downtown Olds. Students will be dressing and acting as Olds business people of the 1920's. They will also be able to see some of the unseen rooms of these historical buildings. Safety protocols are in place to keep everyone safe. Come do some acting with us!!

Mountain View Museum
has received the
Recognized Museum designation
from the Alberta Museums Association. The museum earned this designation after demonstrating their continued commitment to meeting or exceeding standards of museum practice.
See new Exhibits Celebrating 100 years of Olds History. See what Olds and it's Community was like in the 1920's. Many new artifacts are on display that have never been shown in the Museum.
The Olds Museum was forced to close for three months due to Covid-19. The loss of donations in this time is critical. The Olds Historical Society asks for your help to rebuild funds to preserve your family's heritage.

The Mission of the Olds Historical Society is to Collect, Preserve and Provide Access to the History,
Heritage and Culture of Olds and District through the Operation of the Mountain View Museum and Archives.

The Olds Historical Society was formed in 1972 and incorporated on the 11th of January 1973.
